Clarke University seeks a full-time Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) to begin in January 2023. Essential responsibilities include oversight of the Institute for Professional Excellence (including adult, non-traditional, and non-degree programming) and academic support services through the Margaret Mann Resource Center and Career Services. The ADAA will assist degree- and non-degree-seeking students with academic matters and will lead the Office of Academic Affairs in identifying and implementing academic retention strategies.

The ADAA reports directly to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs (AVPAA). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to interact positively with faculty, staff, and students across the University. The ADAA will be a collaborative, transparent leader who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced student-centered environment. The candidate should have a graduate degree in an applicable field as well as substantive experience in higher education and technology and database platforms. Experience with academic support and retention strategies are preferred.
